Soul*Coffee Art Magazine Site Launch

May 2, 2004--Soul*Coffee art magazine annouced today the launch of the site www.soul-coffee.com. Each month, Soul*Coffee will publish a new collection of stories, interviews, and reviews about the art community.

With a new clean design and additional features, Soul*Coffee aims to introduce its readers to undiscovered artists from all over the world.

In keeping with the idea that the reader comes first, submissions and story ideas are welcomed and encouraged.

The debut edition of Soul*Coffee includes:

"Take Another Little Piece of My Art" by Derek Slater - A look at the recent exhibit "Illegal Art" at the MOMA Artist's Gallery in San Francisco. The show which features audio and visual exhibits, a full length CD, and several films, highlights how copyright, typically considered an engine of creativity, can stifle art and free speech.

"Cast the Sleeping Elephant: Part 1 of 3" - Mihail Simeonov tells the story of how he made a cast of a live bull elephant as a gift to the United Nations.

"Abstract Photographer Adam Deal" - An interview with the artist who is making a name for himself in Atlanta for his view of the mundane.
